Looking back at 2014

Looking back at 2014 I feel very happy with my photography activities.

First of all I remember the meetings with so many interesting people during my workshops street photography, my lectures and photo-walks. I met new photo friends and that inspired me a lot this year.

I was also very excited to publish my photo book - The Street - with 101 black and white street photos. This book represents my best work so far in the period 2010 until 2014. The first edition of 100 signed and numbered copies looks great. I still have some copies for sale!

My first performance on Dutch television was another highlight. You could see the people of the city of Utrecht through my (street photographers) eyes in the television program "Man bijt Hond".

Nina Mulder made a fantastic promo video for my workshops street photography.

I was featured on several platforms like a Google Hangout with Valerie Jardin, The Best Street Photograpers Portfolios for Inspiration on 121Clicks.com, exhibitions of my photos and some satisfactory results in photo contests.

I have very good memories of my visit to London last May. What a great city to do street photography and some of my best 2014 photos were made there.

I continued blogging about street photography on Fotoclub.nl and I recently started a (photo)blog on my own website.

Finally I would like to show you my 5 most favorite street photos of 2014:
